Guys:

22nd century fucking rocks! I've seen them live in los angeles and san francisco and both shows kicked ass. i listened to your show and then the song. the tempo does not wonder at all. their producer is john webster (Cher, The Cult, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith) and uses digital performer and logic so the meter is perfect.

i give it five out of five. duane chaos is sexy!

hahaha - we love your feedback and honesty. We're not really powerpop but also not gravel-opera. THanks for the two 4/5 ratings and keep those glasses filled with liquid!

I'm not sure what I said during the show, but 2nd listen, "one of a kind" is a great hook!
One of the best I've heard on the show.

I invite all members to post their thoughts! Help these guys out, or just "bash us" for our drunken disregard for the art! ha!

As only a listener, meaning no formal music or production background, I think the song sounded good. Seemed as though it was trying very hard to be one of those country songs that "gets ya right here" *chest pound*. The music was in order though, as a mere listener I didn't hear anything weird, which is more than I can say than some of the songs diligently reviewed by your staff.

Thinking my opinion may also be influenced by the fact that I am not a lover of country music. I can listen to it now and then, but if it is trying too hard I want to change tracks. Ok that is my two or three or four cents worth.

REPOST: retrogirlfriend said: 2009.10.04 03:07

Loved the Dustin Edge song, thinking this could be one of those catchy radio tunes. I just not sure why its called the Ideal Citizen, I am thinking Bullet Train would be a better title… I’d part with coin to buy the song when they get buff it up.

Also, and perhaps more importantly, wondering if it were possible for songcritic.com to tell me what the meaning of life is?

Thanks for the comments Dave, and welcome back!
As far as the "bar tabs" are concerned, that is the reason we shut down for so long. We couldn't afford to keep up with JP3's consumption, so the electric got shut off to the studio! HA!

No, we are going to keep things pretty simple here. The sponsors of the show, as well as ads in our show notes, should keep the lights on for us. We want to keep membership free.

Concerning the member links... in each members user profile, there is a spot to include a website address, which links your username to that website. We can't let users link directly to songs, or make posts to "check out my tune". We want to keep the focus on the show and the Artist involved. But all shows will remain on the site after they have aired.

I hope that answers your questions. (It's early, and I can't recall what I just said!)

It is great to see you back Dave! Make sure and submit some stuff so we can prove that we have no idea what we're talking about! ha!

Thanks for including the always entertaining past shows! By the way, how can the members help with
the bar tabs so we can keep you guys juiced enough to keep us laughing?
And will there be various levels of membership, from free through paid types, that allow for various additional aspects to membership and functionality such as; deep linking to sings posted, linking to shows previously broadcast, etc.?
GLAD TO SEE YOU BACK UP! Keep us informed and we'll spread the news as much as we can!
